My journey began far from the beauty industry. I was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Virginia, shaped by both American and Canadian roots. My father, Thomas, was American, and my mother, Betty, is Canadian. Many summers spent with family in British Columbia left a lasting impression, and over time it became the place I chose to call home. Like many women, my life has been guided by responsibility, discipline, and growth. I built a career grounded in precision and trust, earning multiple certifications and working in payroll management, where accuracy, accountability, and transparency are essential. That same mindset eventually influenced how I approached skincare. I wanted products that respected the skin, rather than overwhelming it.

I created Dulce Aura because I could not find skincare that aligned with how women actually live. Too many products promised transformation while ignoring the long term health of the skin. I was looking for formulas that support balance, repair, and resilience, without harsh ingredients, unnecessary complexity, or exaggerated claims. Dulce Aura was created with intention. I partnered with trusted small batch formulators to develop barrier focused skincare designed to protect and restore the skin as it changes over time. These formulas are made to support sensitive and overworked skin, not to strip it or force it into submission.
